Who needs a unifying theme anyway?: This has to be... →
whileyouweresleeping: We just got the bill for the full amount of my hospital stay last month. We won’t have to pay it, because I had the good idea of getting insured two months ago. Still, I’m in shock, and the way I can deal with it is by putting it into perspective. So here we go. For…

Speaking of cooking
I bought egg rings the other day so I can make that perfect McDonald’s style fried egg cylinder. We’ve been making our own Egg & Bacon Mcmuffins (with whole-wheat English muffins and lashings of HP sauce). Not the healthiest breakfast in the world, but gotdamn, that shit is good and it’s gotta be better for us than Macca’s. Anyway, most mornings I eat a damn wicker...

Underdog Victorious: Simple Things I've Come to... →
underdogvictorious: 4. The way I shop for groceries. Back in Texas, I did like everyone else. I drove to Wal-Mart, circled the parking lot for ten minutes waiting for a space that wasn’t a football field’s length away from the door. Then I’d fill a cart to overflowing, pay the $300.00 or so dollars that my haul cost, and then load up my trunk and backseat with twenty plus plastic bags of food....

Garfield creator apologizes for ill-timed strip  →
The strip ran on Veterans Day in newspapers across the country. It shows a spider daring the pudgy orange cat to squash it. The spider tells Garfield that if he is killed, “they will hold an annual day of remembrance in my honor.” The final panel shows a spider-teacher asking its students if they know why spiders celebrate “National Stupid Day.” Whoopsie-doodle.

Teejed.: Red Button Project →
teeje: So for my Social Studio at university I created Red Button Project, a simple and creative solution to the excess of introduced plastic bags.* It centres around repurposing unused and old objects to transportation vessels, mainly used for groceries. The project also employs the Japanese… Very cool. Reblogging so more people can see this awesome project. Am currently wondering how...

morefunthanbeingsad asked: "if only there was some way for me to gloat to all the other people who were at the inspection on Tuesday"

I was at that inspection and I wanted that place so bad, it was awesome. Literally 750 metres from where I work on Argyle St. (I google mapped it) and that outdoor area... holy shit that was awesome, you put a bbq and an outdoor setting out there. Unreal.
